You guys never let us down! Mardi Gras was SO MUCH fun thanks to all of you who came out to have a good time with us! To those of you who couldn't make it we almost broke the deck off the roof of the Islander this weekend. Friday night our good friend Michael Daw sat in with us and lit some hair on fire with his banjo skills. We will definitely be asking him to play with us again in the future, but meanwhile you can check out everything he's doing with his band Chainsaw Kelly.
Saturday evening we had a fan appreciation night where purchased a keg of beer for all our friends and fans that support us. Honestly, we knew it would probably go fast, but it only took 25 minutes! That's fast enough to make the senior members of Phi Gamma Delta second guess their drinking abilities. Nice work! Needless to say, the next fan appreciation night will have more free alcohol. Sunday we played before and after the Mardi Gras Parade and regardless of the weather, we still managed to get in a few solid hours of music and dancing. All in all it was a great weekend and it couldn't have happened without you, so THANK YOU!
